To Join a Meeting...

Please use the MeetingPlace Web Interface to log in, find your meeting, and join in.

What is TeleNet?

"TeleNet" is the E-Conferencing Service of the College of ACES at the University of Illinois. "Cisco Unified MeetingPlace" is the conferencing system (hardware+software) used to provide services.

Both the College of ACES and CITES operate closely integrated MeetingPlace systems to provide e-conferencing services. To help you decide which of these two services you should use, please see this helpful guide.

Get a MeetingPlace User Profile...

You can request the creation of a user profile on our conferencing system, which will allow you to schedule your own meetings and access some of the more advanced conferencing capabilities of the Cisco MeetingPlace system. Use the Profile Request form to submit a request for your profile...

Once we have created your profile, you will need to activate it by establishing a password for it. Instructions on how to do this will be automatically sent to the email account you register with.

To submit a MeetingPlace scheduling request

You can schedule meetings online with your MeetingPlace user profile. Please see the scheduling guides (below) for more information on how to use the available methods for scheduling meetings.

If you do not yet have your own profile, you can use our web-based form to submit a request to schedule a meeting. A member of our staff will process this information and contact you to confirm the request, usually within 1 workday.
